NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING

AN APPLICATION HAS BEEN SUBMITTED TO THE PLANNING AND ZONING COMMISSION REQUESTING A ZONING ORDINANCE AMENDMENT FOR PROPERTY LOCATED AT 496 MOONEY BLVD, JEMEZ SPRINGS, NM.

THE REQUESTED AMENDMENT IS TO CHANGE THE ZONING OF THE PROPERTY FROM NEIGHBORHOOD RESIDENTIAL TO COMMERCIAL IN ORDER TO ALLOW FOR A “MULTICULTURAL LEARNING CENTER” AT THIS LOCATION.

ACTION ON THIS APPLICATION WILL TAKE PLACE ON JANUARY 27 DURING THE REGULAR MEETING OF THE COMMISSION.  PRIOR TO THIS MEETING A PUBLIC HEARING WILL BE HELD TO ALLOW THE PUBLIC TO SPEAK FOR OR AGAINST THIS APPLICATION.

Sewer Billing Error

Dear Jemez Springs Sewer Customers,

Due to a computer program malfunction water usage numbers were incorrect for the December Sewer bill. Corrected numbers will show up on your January bill. Or, you may call the Village Office at 575-829-3540 for the corrected amount due for December. Sorry for the inconvenience.  Mayor Mike

The Commission will continue its review of zoning-related village code for areas of possible updating.

2. Tuesday, January 27, Regular Meeting
6:30 p.m. in the Village Office
Conference Room of Josephine Shepard Memorial Municipal Building

The Commission will conduct its regular monthly meeting. Agenda will be shared closer to the date.
